A LITTLE ABOUT US
Hi, let me introduce ourselves. My name is Joe and my wife is Gail. She is actually the ramrod of this opperation, however, she hates this machine so I am in charge of this paticular job.
Both of us have been involved in raising dogs since our youth. Gail and her family was heavily involved in coon dog field trials, and was very successful at it. In their circles, their blood line was, and still is, very well known accross the nation and considered one of the best. They raised black and tans, blue ticks, treeing walkers, most of the hound breeds. As their sport progressed and speed became all important they started crossing with greyhounds and various other breeds of speed and stamina.
Myself, I am just an everyday run-of-the-mill hunter. My passion is quail hunting, but as a boy growing up I did a little of everything. My father liked fox hunting so we raised a few fox hounds. I got into a little rabbit hunting and raised beagles. However, like I said, my passion is bird hunting and so was my father's. The biggest problem was my father liked pointers, I liked setters. The solution was simple, raise both.
Over the years, here in northwest Arkansas anyway, our quail population dewindled to nothing and I, more or less, gave up quail hunting and took up pheasant hunting. In my opinion the hunting of the pheasant required a different kind of dog than the ranging hunters I was used to, so I was on the prowl for that perfect dog.
My wife and I both like pets and with pheasant hunting lasting only a couple of weeks out of the year, at least for me, my perfect dog needed to be family oriented also. The English Springer Spaniel is the perfect choice. His disposition is happy, carefree, playful, and very loving. Great around children and a very good watch dog. Extremely smart and easily trained. He lays around and plays around the house all year then loads up and travels 700 miles to where we hunt. The next morning we head to the field and he goes all day long, day in and day out, until we get ready to come home. The ones I have fooled with in the field are easy to handle and seem to be natural retrievers. I'm not much of a duck hunter, but these spaniels love water and with their web feet I can't help but think they would be just at home in the duck blind as in the field.
We really love these dogs and pamper them something awful. Each and every puppy is treated like something special and given the best of care. They are wormed and given all their shots and anything else they need to make them as happy and healthy as possible. Our puppies are passed to you full of life and a 12 month guarantee to be free of genetic defects. We back this guarantee with a refund of your purchase price or your pick of the next available puppies. If there is nothing you like you can wait for another litter, the choice is yours.
Our pedigrees have backgrounds of field and show champions on both sides. So if you're looking for a hunting buddy, a show star, or just a loving companion, look us over, you'll be glad you did.
